The College of Engineering sets students on a path to a promising future! They learn to solve the world's most pressing problems and get hands-on experience both inside and outside the classroom. Our graduates are working around the world, and many of them are leaders in their fields. University of Arkansas engineers are creating new ways to diagnose and treat cancer, more efficient and safer technology for our nation's power grid, the next generation of nanomaterials and much more.
The College of Engineering offers graduate and undergraduate degrees in nine disciplines: biomedical engineering, biological and agricultural engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, industrial engineering and mechanical engineering. In addition, we offer interdisciplinary degrees and distance learning opportunities.
As part of a land-grant university, the College of Engineering also produces research that contributes to the health, security and economic well-being of the state, region and country. Our strongest research programs focus on the fields of electronics, energy, healthcare, nanomaterials and transportation and logistics. Our faculty are also making discoveries in the fields of big data, cybersecurity, manufacturing and water quality.
Your gift will help support our students and continue our mission of providing a talented and diverse engineering workforce to help our state and our nation prepare for tomorrow.
